Honoring God, Loving Each Other, Impacting Our World

Honoring God, Loving Each Other, Impacting Our World

We're glad that you stopped by! West Concord is a local church that is passionate about people meeting and being transformed by a relationship with Jesus. We believe that this takes place through listening to the preached Word, connecting with people through small groups, and demonstrating God's love to the world through service. Please feel free to roam through our website to see how we seek to accomplish these things. We hope to see you at an upcoming service!

What to Expect

When you visit West Concord, we want you to feel welcome. You'll experience an inviting community with a Jesus-centered message.

Each worship gathering will include a time of worship, prayer, and a message from Scripture.

Worship at West Concord is led by our band and choir. You will hear both older and newer songs during the service. We believe that corporate worship is about singing praises to God in heaven and we do that through a variety of music and styles.

Service Times

West Concord worship gatherings take place each Sunday at 10:30 am.

Our small groups meet in the form of Sunday school classes each Sunday at 9:00 am.

Our small groups are where you can get connected with other people in the church and grow in your relationship with Jesus in community. They pray, study, and fellowship together.

We believe that real spiritual growth takes place through discipleship, which is most easily accomplished in community with others.

Honoring God, loving each other, impacting our world

Honoring God

Our primary purpose is to honor and glorify God as our Maker, our Redeemer and our Righteous King. Apart from his grace and mercy, we would be lost in our sin and lost to who we were meant to be. But through that grace and mercy, Jesus came to live the life we couldn't live, die the death we deserve to die, and conquer death by the resurrection.

We honor God through gathering together to worship him, studying his Word together and striving to live in obedience to him.

Loving Each Other

Jesus tells his disciples that people will know they are followers of him because of the love they have for each other. In order to love each other well, we must know one another in community. At West Concord, this communal growth takes place through small group gatherings (Sunday School classes). In these more intimate settings, we share life’s burdens, grow as disciples of Jesus and pray together.

We love each other through relationships and community so we can walk beside one another through life as we pursue Jesus together.

Impacting our World

The last thing Jesus tells his disciples before he leaves the earth is to make disciples of all nations. To effectively do this, we have to be intentional about sharing the good news of the gospel with people we know and meet. We believe that this is most effective through relationships. Relationships can get messy as you learn more about one another, and we strive to embrace that brokenness the way Jesus did.

We impact our world by being intentional about building relationships and sharing the gospel through them.
