Goal: The Facilities team is charged with the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, vehicles, and grounds.
Basic Objectives:
- Work with deacons and staff to keep facilities operational, make necessary fixes or upgrades (such as sheetrock repair and paint) - either by performing the work or facilitating the work through a third party.
- Maintain thermostats to make sure facilities are comfortable during gatherings.
- Evaluate ways to make our facilities more energy efficient.
- Implement a preventive maintenance schedule for buildings, grounds, and bus.
- Establish and maintain an inventory of paint, building materials, shelving, etc.
